Come asyou are.

I'm Kristy, a registered dietitian. I help people eat well and feel steady in their own lives, over Zoom, wherever they are.

If you're reading this, food has probably been taking up more room in your head than it should. Maybe for years. Maybe since last month.

So let me tell you plainly who I am, what an hour with me looks like, and what it costs. Then, if it feels right, you can write back.

Where I come from

For about twenty years I was a sports dietitian for USC Trojan Athletics: water polo, tennis, golf and volleyball. Athletes who needed their food to hold up under real pressure. Then I spent a few years with the LA Kings.

What those years taught me had little to do with perfect meal plans. The people who did best had someone in their corner who understood how they actually lived, and who checked in.

Now I live in Naples with my family, and I do that same work with people who aren't on a roster. I'm a registered dietitian, so the food advice is sound. But most of what we'll talk about is your life, because that's where eating happens.

One hour, walked through.

  1. Before

A day or two ahead, I'll send you a Zoom link and ask for a few lines about your days. What you eat, how you sleep, what's hard right now. No tracking app. Just tell me.

  2. :00

We meet on Zoom, from your kitchen, your car at lunch, wherever you are. We start by talking. Not about food yet. About how your week actually went.

  3. :15

Then we look at your real days: the rushed breakfast, the 3pm slump, the dinner nobody agrees on. We find the two or three places where a small change carries the most.

  4. :40

We choose one or two things to try this week. Things that fit your life as it is, not a version of you with more time.

  5. :55

Before we hang up, I'll ask how it all feels. If something sounds like too much, we make it smaller. You get a short written note of what we agreed.

  6. The week after

I'll check in. Not to grade you. To ask how it's going, and to adjust if real life got in the way. That part matters more than the hour.

$350 for an hour with me.

I'd rather tell you that here than make you ask.

Letters I've received

Dear Kristy,

I came to you after years of starting over on Mondays. The first thing you asked wasn't what I ate, it was what my mornings were like. We changed two small things about breakfast, and on Friday you checked in just to ask how it went. That check in is why I kept going. I've never met you in person and it has never mattered. I don't think about food the way I used to. I just eat, and I feel better.

Dear Kristy,

My wife booked my first session and I went to keep the peace. You didn't lecture me. You asked about my golf game and how I felt on the back nine, and somehow we ended up talking about lunch. You're easier to talk to than I expected. Every hour is practical. I log off knowing exactly what I'm doing differently that week.

Dear Kristy,

I have three kids and no time, and I'd decided that meant I couldn't eat well. You took that seriously instead of brushing past it. We worked with the dinners I was already making, on Zoom during nap time. You asked about sleep and stress, which nobody had ever connected to food for me. I feel calmer in my kitchen now. That sounds small. It isn't.
